Help The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton OH is searching for an Open-Source Program Management Senior Analys to support NSIC (GG-0132-13). Description: The Eurasia Force Employment flight is seeking candidates familiar with electrical, communications, or computer engineering concepts, with notable telecommunications experience in some form as an operator, installer, or developer (Information Technology, networking, and computer backgrounds also acceptable) to lead a new C4ISR Telecommunications-focused analytic team. This Team Lead should expect to be or become familiar with the analysis or characteristics of space systems, military organizations, networks or systems of systems, perceptions held by operational military units, strategy/doctrine as it affects military use of space, personas, processes, or equipment to excel. Ideal Candidate: Must be able to demonstrate proficient ability to discover, analyze, assimilate, and evaluate available intelligence relating to assigned area of responsibility. Must be able to use this ability to prepare or contribute to finished products in accordance with relevant analytic and production guidance. Must also be able to use this ability to recognize the need to call team's attention to new, impactful information. Should be able to articulate and advocate for resources to support their team members' development as well as their own development, and enable all members' effective integration with the team. Should be able to adapt leadership and mentorship styles to best position their team members for successful mission execution, routinely providing feedback and guidance. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments to drive policy and commit resources 2. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. 3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, interrelationship and operation. 4. Knowledge and skill in the analysis of worldwide space & counterspace, and in regional/cultural/military/political influences on foreign space program, doctrine, strategy, intent and perceptions. 5. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. 6. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes, and providing feedback and mentoring to subordinate analysts. Requirements Conditions of employment • Must be a U.S Citizen. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance. • Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files. • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. • Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework". • This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first. • Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments. • PCS / relocation funding is authorized. • Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year. • This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
