The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Services Principal Specialist to support hardware and software integration activities for the family of Patriot programs, including both development and fielded Patriot equipment within the Andover-based Patriot Labs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge missile defense technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment.
What You Will Do- Support Testing Efforts: Provide technical operations and maintenance support for Patriot System hardware and software within a laboratory environment. Assist lab users in preparing for and conducting test events.
- Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and system issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to support the successful technical execution of complex integration and test events.
- Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in both field test and hardware-in-the-loop environments, evaluating system functionality and overall impact.
- Collaborate: Partner with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
- Support Missions: Demonstrate flexibility, responsiveness, and strong problem-solving skills to accommodate user requests while balancing daily PTFA-required activities.
- Travel: Travel up to 10% as needed to support mission execution at White Sands Missile Range.
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience working within a test facility, depot, field, and/or engineering lab.
Qualifications We Prefer - Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Familiarity with Patriot Technical Manuals and Patriot Maintenance Control System diagnostic software
- Experience identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues, with clear documentation of all actions and steps taken; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with mechanical tools (e.g., power tools, hand tools)
- Experience troubleshooting issues within Windows and Linux systems

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
