Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Integration and Test Engineer 3's for a contract opportunity in San Diego, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, 3 Years with Masters or 1 Year with PhD.
  • Waveform Knowledge.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset.
  • Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer specified clearance prior to start.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Looking for an Integration and Test Engineer 3 to support programs within our Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU).

Responsibilities

Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, aircraft and/or related equipment. Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers and various customer organizations. Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions. Design and developing tooling to aid in the integration and test process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
  • Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing.
  • Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
  • Working knowledge of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics.
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools (Cameo).
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelors in Science is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

Full-Time 9/80 work week. 1st shift. 8AM - 5PM. This position will serve on-site at San Diego, CA.
