Full Job Description
Reporting directly to the Distribution Engineering Manager within the Operations department, the Integrated Solution Engineer is responsible for collaborating with, but not limited to, the Information Technology, Quality, Product Development, Sourcing, Purchasing and Logistics departments. Primary duties include researching, testing, and implementing new system upgrades and enhancements, and sustaining existing system configurations.

How success is defined:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) software to ensure it meets business needs and operational goals.
  • Analyze system data and identify trends to improve inventory and transactional accuracy, system functionality, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Work with Operations, Product Engineering, Product Development, Purchasing and Information Technology to enhance supply chain workflows, implement upgrades, and ensure smooth system integration.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of WMS projects, including gathering requirements, developing test plans, executing user acceptance testing, and assisting with system rollouts.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation upgrades to handle increasing demand and evolving business needs and functions.
  • Recommend performance tuning and optimization of automated systems to improve speed, efficiency and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide user support, and ensure the systems run smoothly.
  • Research and implement new, improved functionalities and configurations within the WMS and TMS software.
  • Create user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other supporting documentation.
  • Train end-users on how to use new or modified system functionality effectively.

  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.


What you will bring:

  • 4-7 years' previous experience in developing warehouse distribution systems
  • Prior experience in high volume, automated distribution environments
  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Strong aptitude for and proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management Systems (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Prior experience in Quality Management Systems, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with lean methods, automation, warehouse design and slotting, time studies, process flow mapping, and process troubleshooting and improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings

Compensation Range: $104,000 - $106,000
