THE WORK

This Integrated Program Planning Manager position is a functional leadership role within the Sensors Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) Line of Business and the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business area. The candidate will lead a team of Integrated Program Planners with responsibility for Development, Production, and Sustainment schedules for programs in the Airborne Mission Systems (AMS) and Laser & Sensor Systems (L&SS) submarket segments.

The candidate will lead a team of Program Planners located across multiple locations. As a trusted advisor, the candidate partners with leadership, external customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure schedule fidelity, mitigate risks, and drive successful program execution. This partnership begins during proposal development, where realistic schedule inputs and estimates are supplied to strengthen the competitiveness of bids.

The leader is responsible for recruiting, coaching, and retaining top talent while building a robust pipeline for future growth. This includes training and career development plans that enable planners to advance their skills and add value to the programs they support.

This role will report to the SEMS Integrated Program Planning Sr. Manager and will be based at a major site within the SEMS LOB. This is a hybrid position with requirements to be on site to meet internal and external business objectives.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

• Syracuse, NY
• Owego, NY

WHO YOU ARE

You are a strategic leader with deep expertise in earned value management and integrated scheduling who can mentor high-performing teams in a complex, agile environment. Your ability to communicate succinctly with executive leadership and external customers ensures program success across the full product lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications
• Previous experience in business leadership roles with a proven track record of success and high-performance
• Earned Value Management skills, advanced integrated cost/schedule management experience
• Experience leading the development and analysis of complex integrated schedules that drives positive program performance outcomes.
• Expertise in Earned-Value Management, risk-based scheduling, and Planning policy
• Previous experience with major subcontractor schedule integration and analysis
• Experience in schedule development during competitive and sole source captures
• Succinct communication skills with leadership and external customers
• Ability to work in an agile environment and prioritize multiple strategic tasks
• Open Plan experience
• Subject Matter Expert in Critical Path, Schedule Risk Analysis, and program planning policy.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop team members.
• This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Desired skills
• Experience in the Development, Production and Sustainment lifecycle Program phases
• Knowledge of DID 81861A-C - Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) and Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR)
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated Change Management Leadership including people, process, tools, and culture
• Experience managing teams in multiple locations
• Active Secret Clearance

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
