The position is ideal for a cleared engineering professional who thrives in fast-paced flight test environments and values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Perform discovery, analysis, and configuration activities across assigned instrumentation scope, including load data acquisition programming and data system status display development
  • Monitor test mission launch and recovery operations; document and disposition data anomalies to maintain mission data integrity
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support to flightline operations, including writing and revising flightline operations procedures
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation systems and review collected data to validate accuracy, completeness, and quality
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation by tracking down hardware or data-flow issues and applying fixes to keep systems healthy
  • Manage data workflows by loading mission programs, watching launch and recovery, and keeping real-time system displays on track

Requirements
  • US Citizenship with an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • Eligible for Special Access Program (SAP) read-in
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Aeronautical preferred)
  • Hands-on expertise with instrumentation, data acquisition, or flight test technologies
