General SummaryWe are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead a team of account executives focused on expanding Vyne Dental's footprint in the dental technology market. The Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting revenue goals, implementing sales strategies, and coaching their team to exceed performance targets. This role is ideal for a high-energy leader with a passion for driving growth in a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account executives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales quotas.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and provide ongoing training to ensure the team is knowledgeable about Vyne Dental's product suite and value proposition.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture, inspiring team members to excel.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a data-driven sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Analyze sales metrics and identify opportunities to optimize the sales process, improve win rates, and reduce sales cycle time.
- Work closely with the VP of Sales to align sales strategies with company objectives, ensuring growth and market penetration.
Performance Management:
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for each team member; hold them accountable to metrics like quota attainment, deal conversion rates, and pipeline health.
- Identify underperforming team members and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
- Recognize and reward high performers, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
Sales Process and Best Practices:
- Ensure consistent adoption of Vyne Dental's sales processes, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demos, and closing deals.
- Implement and monitor the use of tools like Domo Chili Piper, and CRM systems to streamline workflows and gain insights into team performance.
- Collaborate with top-performing sellers to document best practices and ensure these are adopted across the team.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to enhance cross-functional alignment and support the overall sales strategy.
- Provide feedback to the product team based on customer insights and market trends, helping to inform product development.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the dental or healthcare industry.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the dental, healthcare, or technology sector.
- Proven success in a sales leadership role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
- Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
