  • Lead improvement projects to enhance sales adoption and effectiveness.
  • Utilize technology and resources to deliver impactful customer meetings.
  • Observe and coach sales execution of customer value propositions, adjusting as necessary.
  • Analyze and understand market conditions and customer needs to inform strategies.

Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $67,900.00 - $113,200.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 % or $ , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details

The Inside Sales Associate Manager will report to the Training & Development Sr. Manager.

You Will

  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring Inside Sales Associates, fostering their growth and successfully guiding them through the academy program to achieve graduation.
  • Demonstrate development and transference of sales ability, sales process and execute medium customer value proposition and offer to future inside sales team members.
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as sales trainers, contact centers, marketing, offer development and sales support to provide feedback to remove barriers and accelerate growth.
  • Partner with Manager Inside Sales to build individual coaching plans that focus on: driver metrics, competencies and performance drivers.
  • Lead projects with sellers to improve adoption.
  • Leverage technology, internal and external resources to plan for and deliver relevant, timely and valuable customer meetings that build trust and grow sales.
  • Observe, assess and coach to the execution of the value proposition, medium customer offer.
  • Evaluate and understand local market conditions, customer segments, competition, environment and customer needs.
  • Give feedback on team members and partners with Manager Inside Sales on recognition programs to motivate sellers.


You Have

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years sales experience in B2B solution-based selling environment focused on revenue attainment and goal orientation. Inside sales experience is desired
  • Experience cold calling and acquiring new customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities (capable to take on a formal role leading people within 18-24 months).
  • Strategic planning, problem solving, quantitative analysis, time management and organization skills.
  • Understands financial reporting and demonstrates competence with computer software and a CRM.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, sellers, and positively influence Grainger customers.
