Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a critical role in driving sales success for our Enterprise Print and Managed Print Services business. This role is responsible for engaging with clients, aligning solutions with business goals, initiating sales conversations, building relationship and executing sales strategies through outbound efforts and consultative selling.

The ISR will work in close partnership with Field Sales Representatives, providing essential collaboration across account planning, lead qualification, and customer engagement. This engagement ensures a seamless experience for customers and maximizes sales effectiveness.

The role involves leveraging in-depth product knowledge, effective communication, and active listening skills to identify customer needs, address concerns, and ultimately close deals. The role often collaborates with marketing and other sales team members to drive revenue growth, meet targets, and contribute to the organization's overall sales strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound sales activities independently, moving leads through the pipeline with a strong understanding of the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives by coordinating account activities, preparing quotes, and managing follow-ups.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance goals through transactional and solutions-based selling.
  • Apply strategic thinking to align customer needs with business objectives, escalating complex opportunities to Field Sales as needed.
  • Use consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Prospect within existing accounts and identify new opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records (e.g., Dynamics).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure coordinated account management and improve win rates.
  • Own forecasting accuracy by leveraging historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Coordinate resources and support to execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Identifies and researches potential leads through various sources, including cold calls, online research, and networking, to build a strong pipeline of potential customers.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the products or services offered, stay up to date with new features and enhancements, and effectively communicate their value propositions to prospects.
  • Leads market penetration campaigns while training and coaching other inside sales representatives.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to adapt sales strategies and better position the organization's offerings.
  • Provides regular sales reports and updates to supervisors, detailing progress, challenges, and opportunities, while also analyzing sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Education & Experience Recommended
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically, 4 - 6 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or a related field.
  • Experience collaborating with field sales teams is a plus.
