Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with a demonstrated proficiency in web-focused programming languages required.
- Experience with scripting languages and HTML5 for web-based interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to develop secure and compliant software solutions in regulated environments.
- Relevant education may substitute for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, IoT, or blockchain applied to healthcare.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or healthcare IT (e.g., CPHIMS).
- Previous work experience in a clinical or social assistance setting.

- Design, develop, test and deploy software and hardware applications using applicable programing languages to meet healthcare-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and external vendors to gather and analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design new healthcare software systems, ensuring high performance, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
- Stay current with emerging healthcare technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to inform solution development.
- Document technical specifications, project progress, and well-documented code, utilizing scripting languages for front-end and automation tasks.
- Use version control to manage codebase changes, collaborate with team members, and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
