Le groupe Fluid Systems est responsable de la conception, de la modélisation et de l'analyse des systèmes d'air secondaire (SAS), de lubrification et de carburant pour les moteurs PWC. Ces trois systèmes interagissent étroitement afin d'assurer la gestion thermique du moteur.

Ce rôle offre l'opportunité de contribuer directement au développement et à la validation de systèmes critiques au cœur de la performance et de la fiabilité de nos moteurs Pratt & Whitney. Le candidat évoluera dans un environnement très stimulant, offrant des opportunités de prise en charge progressive de projets complets, de portée et de complexité élevées, en fonction de son expérience et de ses intérêts.

Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s'effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Assumer la responsabilité de projets complets, de portée et de complexité élevées, liés aux systèmes d'air secondaire (SAS), de lubrification et de gestion thermique des moteurs.
  • Réaliser des analyses au niveau des systèmes et contribuer aux activités de conception.
  • Mener des analyses techniques approfondies et développer des solutions aux problématiques rencontrées en développement et en service.
  • Définir les requis et participer activement aux activités de validation en banc d'essai.
  • Analyser les données de test, valider le bon fonctionnement des systèmes et assurer la calibration des modèles analytiques.
  • Fournir un support technique à la production, à nos clients, et contribuer activement aux activités de certification des nouveaux programmes moteurs.
  • Contribuer au développement de nouvelles technologies et à l'amélioration des outils et des processus analytiques.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat en génie (aérospatial, mécanique) ou dans un domaine connexe (aérodynamique, thermodynamique), avec 5 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente, ou maîtrise avec 3 à 7 ans d'expérience.
  • Intérêt marqué pour la mécanique des fluides, la thermodynamique, le transfert de chaleur et la modélisation.
  • Solides aptitudes en résolution de problèmes au niveau système.


Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: Engineer Analyst - Aerodynamics & Thermodynamics

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

The Fluid Systems group is responsible for the design, modeling, and analysis of the secondary air system (SAS), lubrication system, and fuel system for PWC engines. These three systems work closely together to ensure effective engine thermal management.

This role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to the development and validation of critical systems at the core of Pratt & Whitney engine performance and reliability. The candidate will excel in a highly stimulating environment, with opportunities to progressively take ownership of complete projects of significant scope and complexity, depending on their experience and interests.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Lead complete projects of significant scope and complexity related to secondary air systems (SAS), lubrication, and engine thermal management systems for a variety of power plants and possible interfaces with aircrafts.
  • Perform system integration analyses and contribute to design activities.
  • Conduct Fluid Systems' integration analyses and develop solutions to issues encountered during development and in-service operation.
  • Define requirements by writing request for test, follow and support any validation tests.
  • Analyze test data, validate system performance, and ensure calibration of analytical models.
  • Provide technical support to production and customers, and contribute to certification activities for new engine programs.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and the improvement of analytical tools and processes.


What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical) or a related field (aerodynamics, thermodynamics), with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 to 7 years of experience.
  • Strong interest in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and modeling.
  • Strong system level problem-solving skills.


This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
