Infusion Pharmacist Position SummarySupports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization by performing daily activities in the organization's infusion pharmacy and collaborating with other divisions/departments to provide exceptional patient care and improved outcomes while achieving organizational goals and meeting KPIs.

Infusion Pharmacist Essential Functions- Models and holds others accountable to the Barnes culture and acts as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.
- Conveys clear performance expectations, follows up consistently, and enforces individual accountability for the team.
- Administers recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for patient care and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.
- Collaborates with prescribers and clinical staff to improve health outcomes and safety.
- Collects, interprets, and evaluates all prescriber medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety, and completeness.
- Provides pharmacological consultation thru collaborating with providers, making recommendations on appropriate therapies based upon the clinical documentation provided, answering questions and requests of health care professionals, and counseling patients on drug therapies.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
- Operates in compliance with all governing bodies (GABOP, DEA, ADAP, etc.).
- Other related duties as assigned.
Infusion Pharmacist Minimum qualifications and skills- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
- PharmD strongly preferred.
- Active/Good Standing Florida Pharmacist License with the state Board of Pharmacy
- Two years of infusion pharmacy experience preferred
- Active Immunizing Certificate preferred
Working conditions- Onsite, Infusion pharmacy location
- Traditional Monday-Friday hours, with on-call rotation
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day
