Full Job Description
THE WORK:

  • You'll support delivery of workstreams and tasks on capital programs and projects across the energy value chain (upstream, midstream, downstream, LNG, power, renewables).
  • You'll conduct research, data gathering, and analysis to support client recommendations on capital project execution, governance, and performance improvement.
  • You'll develop clear, well-structured client deliverables, including slides, models, trackers, and reports, under the guidance of Managers and Senior Managers.
  • You'll contribute to workstream activities related to cost, schedule, risk, change management, and project controls.
  • You'll support engagements involving digital tools and platforms used in capital project delivery (e.g., cost, schedule, portfolio, and controls systems).
  • You'll actively adopt and apply AI tools and technologies to accelerate day-to-day delivery, including research, data analysis, document drafting, deliverable development, and quality review.
  • You'll contribute to the exploration and application of analytics and emerging AI use cases in capital planning, scheduling, risk, and productivity.
  • You'll learn how digital platforms and AI-enabled approaches drive value realization, data quality, and performance transparency across the capital project lifecycle.
  • You'll support proposal development and pursuit activities, including research, benchmarking, and drafting of proposal content.
  • You'll contribute to the development of points of view, offerings, and client materials related to capital delivery and digital enablement.
  • You'll participate in practice-building activities such as asset development, knowledge management, and internal initiatives.
  • You'll collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore team members, managers, and client counterparts.
  • You'll take ownership of assigned tasks, meet commitments, and actively seek feedback to accelerate development.
  • You'll build foundational skills across capital project delivery, project controls, digital platforms, and AI-enabled approaches.
  • You'll model professionalism, delivery rigor, and a client-first mindset in all interactions.
    Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, including internships, co-ops, or full-time roles in consulting, engineering, construction, or capital project delivery
  • Foundational understanding of capital project delivery concepts (e.g., project lifecycle, cost and schedule, project controls) gained through coursework, internships, or early career experience
  • Professional experience and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of formal degree (e.g. engineering, construction, project controls, operations, or data/analytics roles with transferable skills)
  • Willingness and ability to support global clients and travel as required


BONUS POINTS TO HAVE:

  • Internship or prior exposure to energy clients, EPCs, or owner organizations on capital programs or projects
  • Familiarity with project controls disciplines (cost, schedule, estimating, risk, change)
  • Exposure to capital digital platforms (e.g., Sequence, Primavera P6, Aconex, Unifier, or similar PMIS tools)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python) and interest in applying them to capital project data
  • Interest in emerging AI and analytics use cases in forecasting, scheduling, risk, or construction productivity
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to build a career in consulting
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure information and present findings to team members and clients


$120,000 - $130,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
