• Implement and maintain daily backups for business-critical on-premises and cloud systems; investigate failures, perform restorations, and test disaster recovery procedures against agreed recovery objectives.
• Maintain endpoint protection, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response platforms; support vulnerability remediation, security hardening, access reviews, and incident response with security partners.
• Review system, application, network, and security logs; configure monitoring and alerts, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and document corrective actions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database instances with the DBA and application teams; investigate performance issues and perform approved ETL tasks, data transfers, and scheduled job troubleshooting.
• Assist with configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of the ShoreTel VoIP system and related voice networking, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Provide escalation support to service desk and application teams and coordinate resolution with managed service providers and vendors.
• Automate repeatable administration and deployment tasks using PowerShell, cloud command-line tools, and infrastructure-as-code practices; document and review changes.
• Maintain infrastructure inventories, diagrams, configuration records, runbooks, and training materials; perform hardware, software, and configuration audits against company standards.
