Role: Delivery Lead
Location: Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid)

As a Delivery Leader you'll be responsible for delivering value and outcomes. Delivery leaders are expected to have an end-to-end vantage point on delivery, manage dependencies, remove blockers, engage stakeholders, manage financials, maximize vendor relationships, and enable an iterative delivery of value. You will need to keep pace with software delivery and organizational change methods and tools. Delivery leaders should also understand relevant Financial and Agile/Lean/DevOps tools and techniques
Key Responsibilities:
• Outcome Based Planning: Delivery Leaders are expected to deliver outcomes to realize the business case, drive incremental value, drive incremental planning, and drive dependency scope definition.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Delivery Leaders are expected to clearly communicate, escalate when needed, provide visibility, build strong relationships, provide OCM guidance, and have the ability to influence others.
• Vendor Management: Delivery Leaders are expected to facilitate contract negotiations, drive statement of work development, ensure vendors are making expected progress, and develop relationships with vendors.
• Outcome Based Delivery: Delivery Leaders are expected to drive prioritization, manage issues/risks, manage dependencies, provide delivery status/health reports, drive value delivery tracking (ex: KPIs), optimize the flow of value, and ensure demand/capacity is managed
• Financial Management: Delivery Leaders expect to manage project/product financials.
• Team Leadership: Delivery Leaders are expected to foster an environment where teams are empowered, enabled to be a high performing team, promote collaboration, and provide coaching to the teams (ex: agile, lean, delivery leadership, etc...).
• People Leader: Delivery Leaders that are people leaders are expected to establish objectives, provide ongoing feedback & coaching to associates. In addition, you are responsible to manage the hiring, supervising, training, and promotion of candidates.
Compensation: We are offering between $90,000 - $114,000. Applications will be accepted until Sep 11, 2026.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
