Description

CordeValle is seeking an experienced and innovative IT Manager to oversee and support all technology operations across our luxury resort and the CordeValle Winery. This role is integral to maintaining seamless technology infrastructure, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our associates, members, guests, and winery teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality and winery environment.

OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of all hardware and software of Cordevalle property's computing and communication environment. Will work with the CTO to evaluate equipment, search for alternatives and recommend improvements. Will carry out central administrative activities in accordance with standard operating procedures as issued and set forth by the CTO.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect an organization's network.

Monitoring and maintaining these systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and conducting penetration testing.

Assessing network vulnerabilities, identifying threats, and recommending solutions to mitigate them.

Monitoring network activity, investigating security breaches, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage and monitor cloud and internal networks (AT&T ISPs, Fortigate, Juniper, Azure Active Directory, Application servers... etc.)

Manage and monitor different hotel applications and databases (Agilysys, Sun Systems, UKG, Guest- tek...etc.)

Manage and monitor VOIP & mobile device fleet. Maintain a disaster / recovery and contingency plan.

Ensure that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contracts and that preventive maintenance is performed as required.

Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs

Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company's network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem

Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team each quarter

Coordinates technical guidance to users in accordance with the needs of the business process.

Assists in the development of business process modifications and updates including the design and implementation.

Searches for areas of for improvement in existing systems and procedures with new software and hardware.

Prepares and/or helps in the preparation of user operational manuals including check lists and procedures to be followed by the users.

Continuously controls, reviews and evaluates existing configuration.

Attends training courses to consistently update/maintain his/her technical competency for the systems used in the business as deemed necessary by the CTO.

Reviews requests for new hardware and software with the CTO.

Develop and control the departmental budget including capital planning and expense management. Keeps his/her work environment clean and proper at any all times.

Ensures confidentiality in all matters related to his/her activity.

Carries out other duties that may from time to time be delegated to him/her by the CTO.

Maintains complete knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.

Assist guests with all related technology needs.

Manage vendors and other 3rd party support relationships and tickets.

Assist all property departments in all computing matters.
