Full Job Description
Position Summary

Vision IT is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a U.S. Air Force customer at JBSA Randolph. The ISSO is responsible for administering the unit's cybersecurity program, ensuring compliance with DoD and Department of the Air Force cybersecurity requirements, and maintaining the organization's security posture in accordance with CYBER365 assessment criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the unit's Computer Security (COMPUSEC) program and maintain ISSO appointment and required training.
  • Administer NIPRNet and SIPRNet user accounts, access documentation (DD Form 2875, DAF Form 4394), and account lifecycle management.
  • Manage system cybersecurity documentation, including ATOs, ATCs, PIAs, CSSP agreements, and vulnerability compliance (STIGs/SCAPs).
  • Oversee hardware accountability, mobile device security, REMSEC procedures, and IT asset sanitization.
  • Administer the Privileged User Program, including training, certifications, CWIP records, and DCWF compliance.
  • Support classified processing requirements, TEMPEST inspections, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), removable media accountability, and incident reporting.
  • Conduct annual CYBER365 self-assessments and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Serve as the Unit Software License Manager (USLM), maintaining software licenses, IT Asset Management (ITAM) records, ELMS inventories, and software lifecycle compliance in accordance with DAFMAN 17-1203.
  • Coordinate annual and quarterly IT asset inventories, equipment transfers, excess property disposition, and property accountability with the Base Equipment Control Officer (BECO).

Qualifications
  • Active Secret security clearance (minimum).
  • DoD 8570/8140 certification (Security+ or equivalent preferred).
  • Experience as an ISSO, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity professional supporting DoD or U.S. Air Force environments.
  • Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, SCAP, IT Asset Management, DAFMAN 17-1203, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
