Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing (or NLC-eligible)
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Infection Prevention certification preferred
• Post-acute care or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and control efforts throughout the facility
• Monitor, track, and investigate infections and potential outbreaks
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention practices
• Conduct audits and support compliance with infection control standards
• Collaborate with clinical teams to improve resident safety and outcomes
• Partner with local and state health agencies as required
