Job DescriptionInfection Preventionist at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field Or equivalent educ/experience
- 2 years Heathcare experience (4 years preferred).
- 2 years Epidemiology or Infection Prevention experience (4 years preferred).
- California Fire within 30 days of hire
- Within 1 year of hire: Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field
