Registered Nurse to join our team as an
Infection Control Nurse. This leadership role oversees the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program while coordinating staff education to promote a safe environment for our residents and employees.
Responsibilities:- Lead the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program.
- Monitor infection trends, maintain required documentation, and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention policies, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate staff education, orientation, and ongoing in-service training.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing on quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
Qualifications:- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Infection control experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
- Staff education or staff development experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
