The
Industrials Strategy Manager:- Applies deep business strategy development, architecting value and operating model architecture skills to influence client agendas through business insight.
- Partners with our clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.
- Provides deep understanding of our clients' industry landscape and business options in the context of global, economic, technology and social trends.
- Develops trust-based relationships with senior clients.
- Shapes and leads business strategy and transformation engagements.
- Develops compelling responses to new business opportunities.
- Builds and manages strong client and Accenture teams.
- Assesses and manages risks and issues and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensures business outcomes are achieved.
Practice Building:- Develops expertise in specific practice specialty areas to increase the breadth and depth of our knowledge base and capabilities
- Elevates our brand and presence in the marketplace (e.g. conference participation, thought leadership, offering development, recruiting)
- Provides coaching and mentoring to analysts and consultants
Travel as needed, up to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's What You Need:- Minimum 5 years of experience in business consulting to Industrials clients, experience focused on operating model transformation, digital enablement, new product / new business incubation, market expansion, cost optimization or business process transformation across the Products value chain.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving C-Suite level decisions
- Bachelor's degree
Bonus Points if You Have:- An MBA or equivalent degree
Industry Experience:- Industrial equipment, manufacturing, or supply chain background
- Value chain analysis across make/move/sell
- Familiarity with asset-heavy business models
Strategy & Methodology:- Corporate & BU strategy, portfolio optimization
- Market entry, growth strategy, M&A screening
- Structured problem-solving with exec-ready storytelling
Digital/AI:- Industrial IoT, smart manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 exposure
- Translating digital trends into client implications
Preferred Professional Skill Requirements:- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills; slide craft/deck creation
- Team mentorship & junior development
- Financial and business case modeling
- Hypothesis-driven problem structuring
- Gen AI awareness and client readiness
