The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-time Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor (WS-5408-11) to work for Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) for the 78th Air Base Wing(ABW) at Robins Air Force Base located in Warner Robins, Georgia. 2026 Salary Range ($39.38 - $45.97) hourly w/ locality

In this position you will be responsible for accomplishing trades and labor work of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations, Industrial Equipment Mechanics, Electronics Mechanics (Electronics) and Professional Trades of Chemists and Laboratory Technicians to ensure compliance of State issued discharge permit. Performs the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of: Wastewater collection systems, Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant equipment, laboratory analyzing equipment and electronic controlling and surveillance equipment.

Requirements:

Designated drug testing position

Must pass pre-employment physical

Obtain & maintain a security clearance

Certifications/Licensure

Must have current State or Georgia Certificate for Wastewater Treatment operator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

1.Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of the trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised, and of personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/Equal Employment Treatment.

2.Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

3.Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and/or test equipment common to the trades supervised.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.

5. Ability to plan and organize work assignments, to include determining the resources required to accomplish the mission.

6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

7. Must have current State or Georgia Certificate for Wastewater Treatment operator.
