Join a high-impact Continuous Improvement team driving operational excellence across a fast-paced, industry-leading digital supply chain organization. As an Industrial & Systems Engineer (ISE) II, you'll partner with site leadership to optimize labor, systems, and processes-delivering measurable productivity gains and sustainable change. You must live in a location with convenient access to a major airport, as this requires approximately 75% travel. You must also be located within a reasonable distance of any McLane location, allowing you to work from a Distribution Center during weeks when travel is not required. Preferred locations include Atlanta, GA; Fredericksburg, VA; and Salt Lake City, UT. What You'll Do • Lead CI initiatives across multiple distribution divisions with a strong focus on labor optimization and throughput • Conduct time studies and apply MOST methodologies to establish engineered labor standards • Utilize Labor Management tools (e.g., Labor Pro) to analyze performance and drive accountability • Leverage SQL and WMS data (Manhattan WMOS or Active preferred) to uncover insights and improvement opportunities • Design and implement process improvements that reduce cost, increase efficiency, and improve service levels • Manage projects end-to-end, including scope, timeline, stakeholder alignment, and results tracking • Standardize best practices and sustain gains through training, documentation, and auditing What We're Looking For • B.S. in Industrial Engineering (required) • 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, or distribution operations • Strong experience with time studies, MOST, and labor management systems (Labor Pro or similar) • Proficiency in SQL; experience with Manhattan WMOS or Active strongly preferred • Demonstrated project management capability with a track record of delivering measurable results • High level of detail, organization, and analytical rigor • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization • Willingness to travel extensively and work across multiple sites • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
