This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. *This position does not provide relocation assistance* **POSITION SUMMARY:** Responsible for maintenance, upkeep, and compliance of all non-production related equipment. This includes all buildings and infrastructure, facilities and grounds, and utility operations. This position is also responsible for being the Energy & Water Champion for the factory. **JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Prepare, administer, and implement long range capital projects for the factory infrastructure and utilities operation. - Manage Plant facilities operations as it relates to generation and supply of steam, RO water, soft water, refrigeration, compressed air, water and electrical to ensure reliable services to Plant operations in compliance with State and Federal regulations. - Manage overall compliance (internal & regulatory) of the factory as it relates to building infrastructure, ammonia, steam generation, compressed air, environmental, etc. This includes but is not limited to PSM/RMP, Ammonia Safety, Boiler Safety, Life Safety & Security systems, ASME, ANSI, IIAR, OSHA, etc. - Monitor utility consumption and execute best course of action in areas of equipment improvements and engineering requirements to maintain efficient and least cost utility consumption throughout the Fremont Plant. - Utilizing NCE / TPM processes to analyze available data, plan, design and implement best value options that result in low cost/high efficiency renovation/innovation improvements to equipment and/or processes as well as identify cost-savings opportunities that improve efficient use of resources. This includes modification to equipment through effective internal resource use or coordination of external resources. - Has immediate responsibility for the Safety & Environmental activities performed by supervisors and employees. - Assures that Safety activities are communicated & accomplished as outlined in the plant's safety program. - Assures that activities performed having an environmental impact are communicated and accomplished as outlined in the plant's environmental program. - Assures that the supervisor involved properly investigates all injuries, incidents and accidents as they relate to safety or the environment. - Consult with the plant Safety/Environmental Management Representative as necessary to fulfill program requirements. - Review all accident and incident investigations with the objective of taking action to eliminate future occurrences. **EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** - BS/BA degree in related field. - 3+ years' experience managing facilities, utilities, environmental compliance and/or maintenance. - Preferred Experience: Microsoft Project, Auto-Cad and blueprint reading. - Management experience in the Powerhouse operations, ASME boiler code and state laws. - Ammonia systems operation and maintenance in food processing or pharmaceutical industry. - Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). **SKILLS:** - **Leadership:** Proven ability to: lead, develop and energize people of diverse memberships around a shared vision and guide them to reach ambitious objectives. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
