The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION MANAGER (PRODUCTION SQUADRON DIRECTOR), NH-1601-04, to work at the Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) with 309 CMXG at HILL AIR FORCE BASE located in LAYTON, UT. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities. Directs work activities through subordinate supervisors/leads with responsibility for providing advice, accountability, and expertise to higher management and/or senior leadership on a continuous basis. Exercises control over the organizational element by providing direction, planning, and leadership for assigned subordinate personnel. Directs, manages and oversees operation industrial shop and shop support functions in support of aircraft maintenance, overhaul and modification programs. Oversees pre-production, repair processes and overall management of the depot program from depot input through Functional Check Flight (FCF) and delivery. Responsible for all aspects of aircraft depot work processes including production, planning, scheduling and the maintenance portion of materiel management.

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)
- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.
- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.
- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

3. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team.
5. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors.
6. Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
