What you'll doThis role will have unique focus on supporting global manufacturing strategic initiatives, Global Industrial Engineering, and Lam's overall Digital Transformation. This includes the following:
- Create tools, methods, and processes by which data are analyzed and filtered
- Create recommendations for changes to systems and behaviors to collect better-quality data
- Develop strong relationships with Factory Specific IEs, Global Manufacturing Engineering, and Digital Transformation teams to facilitate global standardization and improvement
- Create and prepare data visualization for Global Manufacturing health metrics
- Reports for regular tracking to manufacturing goals, particularly those related to capacity, Cycle time, and labor hours
- Progress dashboards for production metrics
- Support and lead data aggregation, cleansing, analysis, and visualization efforts globally
- Analyze and recommend global efficiency and productivity improvements
- Lead global KPI reporting projects
- Determine global capacity constraints and inform stakeholders of benchmarking opportunities between factories or optimization activities to reduce productivity bottlenecks
- Encourage teamwork through open communication and collaborative problem-solving
- Participate in team meetings, facilitate global project status updates
- Develop and maintain appropriate global documentation for Best Known Methods related to material flow, people flow, and factory layout optimization
- Develop and implement strategies to support capacity growth and flexibility to respond to a rapidly changing market environment
Who we're looking for- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
- Five+ years' manufacturing environment experience: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics
- Experience operating in a matrixed environment
- Advanced statistical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent coding skills: Python and SQL preferred
- Experience building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards
- Project management skills
Preferred qualifications- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Ability to switch between a strategic and tactical mindset for large scope projects with numerous details and requirements of cross-functional group support
- Lean manufacturing knowledge, Black Belt preferred
SalaryCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $86,000.00 - $192,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
