Industrial Electrical Estimator to support our continued growth into industrial, manufacturing, plant, and facility-based electrical work.
What You'll Do- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for industrial plants, manufacturing environments, processing facilities, and other complex commercial facilities
- Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and scope documents to identify project requirements, risks, and opportunities
- Perform complete quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and rental pricing
- Estimate projects involving power distribution, equipment installations, controls, lighting, facility upgrades, and electrical infrastructure
- Develop conceptual budgets and design-assist pricing when complete construction documents are not available
- Coordinate with account managers, operations leaders, vendors, and subcontractors to develop project strategies
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, value-engineering opportunities, and potential project risks
- Prepare professional proposals, pricing summaries, alternates, and value-engineering presentations
- Participate in estimate reviews, proposal presentations, and project turnover meetings
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, historical pricing, and bid results
- Track labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost trends
- Stay current on industrial electrical systems, products, installation methods, codes, and market pricing
What You'll Bring- At least six years of experience in the electrical industry
- At least three years of electrical estimating experience
- Experience estimating industrial, plant, manufacturing, or large facility projects strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Accubid required
- Electrical field experience preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, labor productivity, and material requirements
- Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable local building codes
- Ability to read and interpret complex plans, specifications, single-line diagrams, and project documents
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
