Inclusive Work Program Manager

Description -

Inclusive Work Program Manager Skill Description
  • Observation & Diagnosis: Ability to watch someone perform a task step by step, identify exactly where a breakdown is occurring, and determine whether the barrier is comprehension, execution, environment, or instruction quality.
  • Accountability & Standard-Setting: Comfortable holding people to high expectations without lowering the bar or defaulting to over-support. Able to reinforce expectations clearly and firmly, repeatedly if necessary.
  • Real-Time Problem-Solving: Addresses issues as they arise rather than deferring, documenting, or escalating unnecessarily. Makes judgment calls in the moment with confidence.
  • Direct Communication: Raises concerns, observations, and disagreements openly and promptly - with leadership, partners, and team members. Does not communicate indirectly or withhold feedback.
  • Behavioral Observation & Pattern Recognition: Notices when team behavior is off-track - whether that's not following process, making unrelated comments, or not reflecting what was discussed - and responds constructively in the moment.
  • Process Compliance & Tool Adoption: Ensures teams are using established workflows and tools correctly, investigates when they aren't, and identifies why rather than assuming willful non-compliance.
  • Expectation Translation: Converts conversations, meetings, and stakeholder discussions into clear, actionable expectations for the team - then verifies understanding through follow-up.
  • Coaching Without Caretaking: Supports team members' growth while maintaining high standards. Distinguishes between someone needing targeted coaching versus someone needing to be held accountable.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manages relationships across multiple parties - Project teams and managers, program participants, and leadership - while keeping communication clear and consistent across all of them.
  • Documentation: Records stakeholder sessions accurately for training and program development purposes.

• Serve as the primary liaison between our organization, project partners, and program participants - communicating status updates, surfacing challenges early, and driving solutions.

• Provide direct, candid feedback to program leadership - concerns and observations should be communicated openly and promptly
