Full Job Description
Tria Federal is seeking a skilled MS Project Scheduler to join our mission-driven organization. This position is critical to the supporting our Federal client with the Electronic Health Modernization needs. This position supports hands-on technical integration scheduling for healthcare interfaces with the Oracle Health EHR. This role manages complex schedule creation for a wide variety of applications and systems used by the client. The position serves as an important member of our integration team, supporting the scheduling activities required for delivery of all interface-related deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have proven success working with development teams as well as other internal stakeholders to provide information required for meeting contract deadlines. ******This position is based in Arlington, VA, and requires four days per week in the office. Responsibilities: • Responsible for day-to-day mechanics of technical schedule development and maintenance. • Ensure schedules are compliant with industry best practices such as DCMA 14-point assessment and GAO guiding schedule principles. • Build out new DCMA-compliant schedules as new task orders and modifications are awarded for additional program scope. • Responsible for developing and writing client-facing schedule reports. • Create regular and ad hoc reports for leadership. • Identify, escalate, and monitor schedule-related risks/issues to appropriate POCs. • Present schedule-related briefings on leadership calls (internal and external). • Work with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and government partners to regularly maintain schedules. • Regularly work with approx. 30-40 different POCs to maintain schedule data. • Work as both an individual scheduler who manages specific areas of work but also regularly work with the greater scheduling team to share critical data, cross-project impacts, and areas of process improvement. Top skills or competencies to be successful: • Experience with EHR implementations (Oracle Health Millennium or Epic) • Experience supporting Federal programs, tools, processes, or frameworks. • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required): • Bachelor's plus a minimum of 3 years of scheduling experience. • Proven experience with Jira and Microsoft Project. • Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. • Efficient with written and oral communication • Familiar with Office 365 applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. • Experience with Milestone Pro preferred • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills. • Highly organized and detail oriented. • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels of management. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. • Previous Federal Contracting experience preferred. • US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
