Job DescriptionThe position functions as the primary daily contact between the Impact Finance New Markets, Historic Tax Credit and Syndications group and all other U.S. Bank related to bank accounts held by customers tied to tax credit deals:
- Is responsible for assisting tax credit customers with opening accounts related to deals. This includes handling Know Your Customer (KYC) tasks.
- Direct customer interface functioning as a liaison with various bank departments.
- Handles day-to-day client calls, customers actions, and client problem resolution.
- Ensures accurate portfolio implementations for products and services.
- Can act as the primary support for clients through communication and analysis.
- Helps manage compliance related projects such as periodic KYC reviews, inactive account reviews, process-related projects, and any potential audit requests tied to the processes of the group.
- Works across the Impact Finance partnerships with New Markets, Affordable Housing, Syndications, and other bank business lines.
- Minimal work product errors or edits.
- Backs up the other ops analysts and works as a team player.
- Proactive attitude towards working on and figuring out unfamiliar issues with minimal oversight.
- Provides an optimistic voice for the team in response to change, expresses honest thoughts and concerns in a productive way during team meetings, and speaks up when others might not.
- Attends on-going training and meetings and keep abreast of bank policies/procedures associated with account openings, KYC, overdrafts etc.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of experience in financial accounting activities
Preferred Skills/Experience- Thorough knowledge of deposit products and treasury management services
- Know your customer (KYC) experience.
- Experience with opening accounts using the Fusion system
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company
- Can work as an independent thinker and is responsible for managing their time wisely.
- Employee may be asked to prepare or partake in regularly scheduled audits of processes in place within department.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00
