- Follows established imaging and extractions process to produce digital evidence ready for forensic examination.
- Verifies legal authority prior to device acquisition,determinesacquisition methodrequired, verifies integrity ofacquiredevidence through device hashing, routes damaged devices to hardware repair tech if repair isrequiredfor data extraction.
- Properly documents all imaging and extraction actions in detail.
- Follows procedures to ensure chain-of-custody.
*This position requires full-time, onsite attendance Monday through Friday in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Clearance Requirement: ActiveTop Secretclearance with SCI eligibility.
- Education/Experience: Bachelors degree and5+ s years experience, orMastersdegree and 3+ s years experience, or PhD and 0years experience. A degree in one of the following fields of study is highly desired:Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, or Software Engineering. In lieu of a degree in one these fieldsof study, anadditional4 years of recent relevantexperience or specialized training may be considered.
- Proficient with hardware imaging devices such asLogicubeFalcon-Neo, Tableau TD3, Cellebrite and write blockers such as Tableau andWiebetech.
- Also,demonstratesproficiencywith software tools such as FTK Imager, EnCase, Axiom, DumpIt, Cellebrite, XRY, Oxygen and Android Debug Bridge (ADB).
- Formalized technical training in the areas of digital forensics, computer science, etc.
- ExperiencewritingTechnical Reports and documentingprocedures.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited lab environment.
- Experience working at the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) as a Digital Forensics Examiner.
- Experience testifying during military, civil, criminal, or administrative litigation as an expert witness.
- One of the following active certifications:RCCE Level 1, CFR, CHFI,CySA+, GCFA, GCFE,PenTest+, or DC3 Digital Forensics Examiner Certificate.
Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
