Full Job Description
Innovative Financial Group (IFG), a wholly owned Field Marketing Organization (FMO) and subsidiary of Humana, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join the Call Center team. We are looking for a sales professional that excels in a team environment, enjoys building long-term agency relationships, and has experience working with carriers and/or FMOs. As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), Call Center Agency Sales, you will be responsible for developing, recruiting, and supporting partner agencies. You will serve as the primary relationship owner for agencies, balancing new partner recruitment, sales growth, and ongoing support to lead sustained revenue performance. This role reports to the Associate Director of Brokerage Sales. Key Role Functions • Own and manage a portfolio of agencies as the primary relationship manager • Achieve or exceed sales and production targets through new agency recruitment and growth of existing relationships • Recruit, evaluate, and onboard independent agents and FMO affiliated agencies within assigned regions or channels • Identify new business opportunities and recommend targeted growth strategies based on agency performance trends • Support agencies across the full sales lifecycle, troubleshooting escalations and providing product, process, and operational guidance • Collaborate with marketing, sales operations, and leadership on promotions, training, and communication initiatives • Prepare sales presentations, Agency Reviews, proposals, and contracts, subject to leadership review • Provide market insights to influence regional and departmental strategy while operating independently (Note: The Humana internal job title for this role is - Agency Broker Relationship Manager and will appear as such on the offer letter and any applicable onboarding materials.) Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in agency sales, broker management, channel sales, or partner development • Active state insurance license and holds either an AHIP or a NABIP certification • Experience building and managing relationships with contact-center partners • Prior experience successfully recruiting, growing, and supporting agencies or broker partners • Experience working with health insurance carriers, FMOs, or similar distribution models • Prior experience analyzing performance data and adjusting strategies based on variable market conditions • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to balance sales execution and relationship support • Willingness to travel regionally as business needs require (Avg of 50% of the time during certain times of year, as needed) Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in both carrier and FMO environments • Experience managing agencies across multiple geographic markets • Familiarity with compliance requirements, licensing standards, and certification processes (e.g., AHIP) • Experience influencing strategy beyond individual accounts • Experience in Call Quality Metrics and QA Call Calibration Reviews Additional Information This role has a base salary + a targeted sales incentive of $93.5k Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The range below reflects a good faith estimate of total compensation for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This compensation package includes both base pay and targeted commission pay. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location.
