Responsibilities

  • Provide planning information for safe execution of priority jobs
  • Manage notification and work order backlog
  • Convert notifications to work orders
  • Build or replicate job plans as needed
  • Participate in bidding and requisitioning for third-party services
  • Review high-cost orders for ROI verification
  • Forward job packages to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Solicit feedback on job plans to improve planning efficiencies

Full Job Description
The basic function of this role within the MOWP is to develop planned job packages for maintenance repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the gatekeeper. The job must satisfy the notification scope and include all materials, services, rsources and appropriate scheduling logic between individual operations or tasks

A Day in the Life

This functions/ role/ position is responsible for the following:
  • Providing necessary planning information that insures safe and efficient execution of critical priority 1 and 2 jobs
  • Participating in the mangement of the notification and work order backlog
  • Changing notification(s) to orders
  • Building or copying job plans
  • Participating in bidding process and requistioning for third party services
  • Routing high cost orders through the Production Maintenance Coordinatior for verification that work order provides appropriate return on investment relative to the current business environment
  • Forwarding job packages to the Miantenance Supervisor
  • Soliciting feedback on executed jobs plans and making any necessary changes to insure planning and work effciencies continue to improve
  • Writing necessary change orders for third party services upon job completion


You Bring This Value

  • Hihg School Diploma or equivalent
  • Typically, 5+ years experience in the field of Instrumentation/ Electrical
  • Must be proficient in reading P&ID's, electrical one-line diagrams and wiring schematics
  • Must be familair with the requirments of the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively through writeen and verbal methods to customers, management and vendors
  • Expereince with accomplishgin work within required timelines, including short, long and emergency timeframes
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Documentum
