Overview

Hybrid remote opportunity - Candidates must be geographically located within the contiguous United States with a willingness to travel up to 20% in order to be considered for a role on ePlus' National Security team.

As an IAM Lead Technical Sales Architect, you will be responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a team of engineers to plan, design, and implement enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of how technology enables businesses to develop strategies, meet business objectives, and deliver value through both technical leadership and client-facing sales consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to partner with stakeholders, support pre-sales and solution consulting activities, and translate complex IAM capabilities into business-focused recommendations.

Candidates should have deep expertise in the design, planning, deployment, and support of Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Directory Services, Software Licensing, Identity Lifecycle Services, Just-in-Time Provisioning, and Managed Services support and engagement.

Your Impact

The essential functions of this position include:
  • Lead a team of Engineers, Sr. Engineers, Consultants, Sr. Consultants and Architects
  • Provide Sales Engineering support, BOM creation assistance, SOW assistance along with planning and designing solutions for complex multi-vendor solutions
  • Lead Customer to modernize identity and access management systems and program
  • Automation knowledge of lifecycle account management systems
  • Research, design and develop repeatable IAM solutions for customer IT needs
  • Utilize technical vision and strategy plans to productize service and product offerings, creating high-value solutions
  • Expert knowledgeof the following solutions; SailPoint, BeyondTrust, One Identity, CyberArk, Delinea, EntraID
  • Knowledge of Certificate Lifecycle Management and CA/Browser Forum mandate
  • Engage internal pre-sales engineering teams to identify and map new opportunities, facilitate issue resolution, and expedite solutions, providing frequent updates to Account Management and Engineering teams
  • Manage internal training workshops for employees
  • Assist in designing and architecting solutions tailored to customer requirements. Facilitate design architecture and conduct peer reviews with customers to ensure thorough documentation.
  • Assist the Services Director with resource management
  • Build and maintain manufacturer/vendor relationships
  • Be an escalation point for Engineers and Sr. Engineers, Consultants, Sr. Consultants and Architects
  • Manage Quality Assurance (QA) of all projects
  • Meet with key IAM vendors to stay current on products and technologies
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards ie PCI, HIPAA, etc.
  • Continuing education of relevant certifications that would benefit the Lead Technical Architect role
  • Be available to meet customer IT needs and serve the Customer to ePlus' standards

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT
  • 5+ years of experience performing in a Sales Consultant or Architect role
  • Multiple industry-recognized Certifications. i.e. CISSP, GSEC, GIAC, CIAMP
  • Vendor Certifications - Sailpoint, BeyondTrust, One Identity, CyberArk, Delinea, Entra ID, etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Excellent presentation, communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and come up with solutions quickly
  • Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT

Position Specifics

The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $170,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our compensation package may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
