IBM Sterling Product Owner
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Location: 100% Onsite (5 Days/Week) - Raleigh, North Carolina

Ideal Candidate
Must possess 10+ years of overall IT experience.
Must have strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
Must have experience working as a Product Owner, Business Product Owner, Functional Lead, or Product Manager within Agile environments.

Retail Supply Chain

Must have experience creating and managing:
Product Backlogs
User Stories
Epics
Acceptance Criteria

Must have hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.
Must have experience working closely with Business, Development, QA, Architecture, and Product teams.
Must possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Retail, eCommerce, Distribution, or Supply Chain industry experience is highly preferred.

The IBM Sterling Product Owner will own the product roadmap and vision for IBM Sterling Order Management initiatives while partnering with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional organizations to deliver enterprise-scale omnichannel commerce solutions.
The successful candidate will translate business requirements into user stories, manage product backlogs, prioritize features, support Agile delivery, coordinate UAT and production releases, and continuously improve IBM Sterling OMS capabilities supporting retail and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
Own the IBM Sterling OMS product roadmap.
Gather and analyze business requirements.
Create and prioritize user stories, epics, and product backlog.
Work closely with Business, Development, QA, and Architecture teams.
Define acceptance criteria and validate completed features.

Lead Agile ceremonies including:
Sprint Planning
Backlog Grooming
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives

Drive continuous platform improvements.
Support UAT, release planning, and production deployments.
Collaborate with ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, and Fulfillment teams.
Ensure successful OMS integrations across enterprise platforms.
Monitor platform performance and recommend enhancements.
Serve as the primary liaison between Business and Technology teams.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
10+ years of IT experience.
Strong IBM Sterling OMS experience.
Product Owner / Business Product Owner / Functional Lead experience.

Strong knowledge of:
Order Management
Inventory Management
Fulfillment
Omnichannel Retail

Agile/Scrum experience.
Experience managing Product Backlogs.
Experience writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
