Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned program or programs. This includes activities related to contract performance, financials, quality assurance, risk management, communications, leadership, and business development.

  • Organizing, directing, coordinating, planning, and the production of all contract activities including interfacing with client management such as the COR and technical customers.
  • Responsible for the overall contract management in schedule, cost management, quality, personnel management, performance evaluation as well as providing the COR with a Monthly Status Report (MSR) no later than the 15th business day of the month. The MSR must identify all work performed for the previous month, including a breakdown of personnel and tasks, tasks to be completed in the future, and any issues or concerns. Major issues or concerns should be emphasized clearly.
  • Responsible for assigning, scheduling, and providing configuration control and quality assurance of deliverables and establishing and altering program organization to provide effective contract support.
  • Responsible for ensuring conformance to task specifications and contract provisions.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in a technical or management discipline
  • At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience, including ten (10) years managing complex DoW projects involving a large number of people in subordinate groups.
  • Knowledge of the Joint Staff’s Capability requirements process
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship Required
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $200,000.00/Yr. - USD $240,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
