The Raytheon Industry 4.0 Connected Factory Intelligence & Automation (CFI&A) Team is seeking an experienced Industry 4.0 Principal Project Manager. This position will be responsible for leading the critical planning and execution of existing and new/upcoming Factory Automation projects as a Project Manager in a growing strategic organization in addition to supporting strategic business planning, and corporate initiatives. This role works across functions and levels in the business supporting a complex network of existing and developing digital and physical factory automation systems. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative, geographically distributed team, and will be working in an Agile & Waterfall project management framework.
The role is in McKinney Texas. The candidate will be required to travel up to ~10% of the time to support projects managed across multiple Raytheon locations.
Responsibilities:
Planning, execution, and delivery of assigned Industry 4.0 projects, on budget and schedule, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver tangible business benefits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business requirements and priorities.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources to ensure successful project execution within established constraints.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget and schedule.
Communicate project status, milestones, and key insights to senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates and recommendations.
Proactively identify and manage changes in scope
Lead team during uncertain times and/or prioritizing conflicting goals
Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Industry 4.0, and incorporate relevant insights into project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or 5+ years with an advanced STEM degree in Engineering.

Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, scheduling, manage budgets following earned value techniques, manage risks and opportunities and lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion.

Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.

Desired Qualifications:
Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification
Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies and/or Agile certifications
Proven experience managing complex projects in the field of Industry 4.0, digital transformation, or related areas.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and concepts, including IoT, AI, machine learning, robotics, and data analytics.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory principles, technologies and/or techniques
Demonstrated experience with earned value management
Experience with planning and execution of capital investment plans and appropriations requests (ARs)
Demonstrated technical background with an understanding or hands-on experience in hardware, manufacturing, software, firmware, and electronics development
Continuous improvement mindset
First-hand experience from driving Change Management projects and track record of being able to deliver results
