JOB TITLE: I O Engineer

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement appropriate solutions; communicate with staff and clients to gather and understand technical requirements; work with stakeholders on incident management, problem resolution, and change management; perform root cause analysis and document lessons learned for continuous improvement; lead strategic operational improvement initiatives across development, product, and quality engineering teams; execute standard ITIL processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation; develop, update, and support application infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS; build and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) components; automate deployment, configuration, and scaling of production applications; set up and maintain all environments including production systems; and develop and implement DevOps policies, procedures, and best practices. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Computer-related occupation. Experience in the following:
• Cloud infrastructure administration and continuous delivery for enterprise SaaS/PaaS environments in public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• SaaS platform management including vendor coordination and scheduled capability release planning
• DevOps pipeline automation for efficient build, deployment, and release management
• Programming and scripting proficiency in Bash and Python
• Kubernetes container orchestration, cluster management, and deployment strategies for production workloads
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for provisioning, configuration management, and cloud resource automation
• Monitoring and alerting for cloud services, job completion, and deployment pipelines
• ITIL incident and change management processes
• Storage and backup administration

RATE OF PAY: $129,808 - $137,592 per year
