Measurement, Automation, and I&E work. As an
I&E Construction Supervisor, you'll lead field efforts that keep projects on schedule and within budget-managing crews, assigning job scopes, producing daily reporting and
AFE cost tracking, and ensuring installed systems are functioning correctly while fully meeting
Client requirements. You'll also serve as the key interface between the work face and the Construction Site Manager/Lead, coordinating 3rd-party contractors to deliver safe, quality installations.
This is a 12+ month role with a
5/2 schedule (M-F), 40 hours/week, offering
$75-$100/hour.
Required Skills- 10+ years of hands-on electrical field construction experience on oil & gas projects
- 5+ years in a supervisory role, upholding the integrity of the construction/execution process
- Strong ability to understand and execute assigned construction tasks within defined project scope
- Demonstrated ability to interpret plans and specifications
- Proven success delivering projects within contracted schedule and budget
- Ability to work with multi-discipline engineering teams, monitoring and controlling scope, schedule, and budget
- Experience managing field crews and supporting operation and maintenance of earthwork equipment
- Capability to champion Worker Safety Programs and support a strong safety culture
- Experience overseeing site contractor fabrication, construction, and hookup work activities during the Execution Phase
- Ability to serve as a member of the Project Team (PT) when assigned
- Strong working knowledge of oil and gas production systems, including:
- Process flow understanding
- Associated electrical systems and electrical components
- Power generation and distribution
- Must be proficient in P&IDs
- Prior experience using related electrical equipment
- Must have prior construction experience across onshore oil & gas developments, such as:
- Pipelines
- Compressor stations
- Production facilities
- Well pad facilities, etc.
Nice to Have Skills- Prior Utility experience
- Experience providing supervision and coordination across multiple contractor interfaces in field environments
Preferred Education and Experience- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Associate Degree in Electronics and/or relevant training preferred
- Overall experience aligned with: 10+ years electrical field construction and 5+ years supervisory experience
