The RoleWe need an experienced Operations Manager to run our Hydrovac/Hydroblast division day to day. You'll own safety, crew performance, equipment, and job profitability, and you'll be the main point of contact for our clients in the field.
What You'll Do- Plan, schedule, and dispatch hydrovac and hydroblast crews and equipment across multiple sites
- Lead and develop operators, leads, and supervisors
- Drive a zero-incident safety culture that meets MSHA, OSHA, and client site requirements
- Manage job costing, daily tickets, T&M and unit rate billing, and invoice accuracy
- Track equipment utilization, maintenance, and downtime; coordinate with the shop on repairs
- Build strong client relationships and support new work through estimates and quotes
- Report on division KPIs: safety, utilization, margin, and customer satisfaction
What You Bring- 5+ years in hydrovac, hydroexcavation, or industrial cleaning, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Mining or heavy industrial site experience strongly preferred
- MSHA Part 46/48 and OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain)
- Solid understanding of job costing, rate sheets, and field billing
- Valid driver's license; CDL Class A a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with Excel and field ticketing software
