Job Title: Hydraulics Engineer

Location: Watertown
Department: Engineering/Mechanical Systems
Reports To: Engineering Manager
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulics Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of hydraulic systems and components used in industry/application, e.g., heavy machinery, & automotive. This role requires a strong understanding of fluid dynamics, system integration, and mechanical design principles.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop hydraulic systems and components for new and existing products.


  • Perform simulations and calculations to ensure system performance and reliability.


  • Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers.


  • Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for hydraulic issues.

What you'll bring

  • Good knowledge about JIC and SAE fittings for hydraulic pipes and hoses and sizing of hydraulic lines.


  • Experienced in selection of hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors, pumps etc.


  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


  • Experienced with SolidWorks preferred


Salary: The compensation range for this position is $80k - $95k annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
