Responsibilities

  • Support busy general surgery and family medicine practices
  • Manage patient care in both specialties
  • Conduct health assessments and develop patient care plans
  • Collaborate with a tenured team of healthcare professionals
  • Participate in after-hours call rotation
  • Provide education and resources to patients regarding chronic disease management
  • Assist in various surgical procedures under supervision

$ Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $130,000 / year

Job Summary:
LewisGale Physicians is seeking an APP to support a busy general surgery and a family medicine practice in Dublin, Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to support two specialites!

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board Certified NP or PA
  • Virginia license or ability to obtain
  • 1-5 years of APP experience required
  • Prior experience in general surgery (GI exposure) and chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes, etc.) is preferred
  • Ability to support two specialites and work alongside a tenured team
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Call is 1:6
  • 2 days in General Surgery, 3 days in Family Medicine
