Licensed HVAC Journeyman Technicians for projects located in or around
Mercers, WV. This is a first shift opportunity and
the pay rate is $38-$41/hour based on experience plus $125/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. If you are a HVAC Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:- Installing and routing copper refrigerant piping systems
- Brazing and pressure-test piping connections
- Assisting with HVAC equipment installations and system startup activities
- Reading blueprints and coordinating installations with the project team
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Requirements:- Valid West Virginia HVAC License (required)
- Proven experience installing and brazing copper refrigerant piping in commercial construction environments
- Ability to braze copper pipe ranging from 3/8" to 2-1/8" using an oxy/acetylene torch and 15% silver brazing rods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and mechanical drawings
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, safety procedures, and code requirements
- Must provide own HVAC tools and PPE
