Position Overview:

As an HVAC Smart Building Sales Account Representative, you will oversee the sale of Johnson Controls' Building Efficiency offerings. Focusing on fostering long-term partnerships, you will address client needs with innovative business and technical solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves collaboration with internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling Johnson Controls offerings with confidence and persistence to various stakeholders in the construction community, aiming for optimal profitability.
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers to promote Johnson Controls as their preferred partner.
  • Identifying and engaging new business opportunities in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Addressing operational, environmental, and financial objectives of customers by recommending tailored solutions.
  • Representing customer interests within Johnson Controls, ensuring they receive maximum value from our offerings.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Two years of experience in selling HVAC Controls to engineers, contractors, or general contractors.
  • Three years of sales experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledgeable in designing and/or selling building automation systems.
  • Strong initiative and excellent communication skills.

Preferred:
  • BA in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Five years of sales experience in the construction or HVAC industry.


Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $86,000-120k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
