Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Perform comprehensive system evaluations to identify root causes of equipment issues
- Service and maintain:
- Air conditioners
- Furnaces
- Heat pumps
- Indoor air quality systems
- Thermostats and controls
- Related HVAC components
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
- Present repair options and recommendations clearly and professionally to homeowners
- Educate customers on system operation, maintenance requirements, and energy-saving opportunities
- Promote and explain the benefits of the CoolCare Maintenance Agreement
- Identify opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, reliability, and indoor air quality
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication
- Accurately document service findings, completed work, and recommendations using company software platforms
- Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Ensure all work is completed according to local, state, and national codes
Qualifications

Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service, maintenance, and repair experience
- Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC system issues
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills

- Industry certifications (EPA Certification preferred)

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver HVAC equipment and materials
