HVAC Project Manager / Mechanical Engineer (MEP)Location: Pittsburgh, PA

What You'll Do- Serve as the lead HVAC/Mechanical Engineer and primary technical contact for assigned projects.
- Design HVAC systems, perform engineering calculations, select equipment, and prepare construction documents.
- Develop and review design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall technical quality.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, field surveys, and site visits.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and other construction documentation.
- Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and bidding documents.
- Support construction administration by resolving field issues and providing engineering guidance.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-10+ years of HVAC/Mechanical Engineering experience in a consulting engineering environment.
- Experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, industrial, or similar building projects.
- Experience managing projects and serving as the primary engineering contact for clients.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience performing HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design.
- Experience supporting projects through construction administration, RFIs, submittals, and site observations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PE license preferred but not required
