OverviewRoleSummary
TheHVAC Field Supervisoroversees daytoday operations on residential job sites. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. This position serves as the primary leader for technicians, coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
Technician Oversight
- Direct and support technicians working on HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, and related mechanical systems.
- Interpret specifications and job scopes to ensure accuracy.
- Verify system startups, commissioning steps, and quality checks are completed correctly.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance to field teams.
Project Coordination
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules, assigning tasks to technicians and subcontractors.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment staging, and jobsite logistics.
- Communicate with project managers, builders, and customers regarding job progress and changes.
- Track project milestones and report status updates, delays, or resource needs.
E Safety & Compliance
- Enforce company safety policies, OSHA standards, and jobsite protocols.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure crews use proper PPE and safe work practices.
- Inspect job sites for hazards and correct issues promptly.
- Ensure jobs comply with local codes, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.
Leadership & Training
- Mentor and develop technicians, providing onthejob training and performance feedback.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and skills assessments for new hires.
- Promote a positive, productive team culture focused on quality and professionalism.
Administrative Duties
- Review jobsite documentation, including work orders, change orders, and timecards.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project deviations.
- Assist with inventory control and equipment management.
- Support warranty and callback resolution when issues arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive HVAC experience; supervisory/foreman experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, refrigeration principles, and mechanical codes.
- Ability to install and/or service HP/AC/Furnace/Boiler
- Service Titan experience a plus
- System design a plus
- Job costing/ordering a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problemsolving skills.
- State of Rhode Island HVAC License required(Refrigeration or Pipefitter)
- Clean driving record and ability to travel between job sites.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform manual tasks

Location:Bristol, RI
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000
