As an HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and a proven track record in estimating projects accurately.
Pay ranges from $85,000 - $125,0000 DOELocation: Westchester County, NYResponsibilities: - Evaluate project specifications and develop cost estimates
- Collaborate with the project management team to determine the scope of work
- Review and analyze project drawings and technical documents
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
- Ensure that all estimates comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements: - Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator or similar role
- Proficient in HVAC systems and construction practices
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Knowledge of estimating software and tools
