Job Title: HVAC Chiller Service Technician
Department: Service
Reports To: Service Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, (eligible for OT)
Location: Louisville, CO
Wage Range: $40-$65/Hourly

OVERVIEW:

We are adding to our Service Department and are hiring an HVAC Chiller Technician. We're looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience working in Commercial and Industrial HVAC Centrifugal Chiller applications. The HVAC Chiller Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, teardown, rebuild and repair of Chiller systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, rigging equipment, specialty tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
  • Keeps current on all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years' experience as an HVAC Chiller Technician
  • Boiler and Chiller experience
  • RTU Install and Service
  • Split System AC and Furnace Install and Service
  • Valid CO Driver's License and Clear MVR
  • Universal EPA License
  • Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to be a team player and possess leadership qualities.
