THE POSITION
Are you eager to work on programs that improve the lives of individuals and families? As a Human Services Program Representative 1 with the Department of Human Services, you will help develop and strengthen peer services across the Commonwealth. This role encourages your creativity, motivation, and commitment to public service.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the statewide development, coordination, and evaluation of peer service programs within the Department of Human Services. As a Human Services Program Representative 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Program Oversight: Review program service descriptions, monitor provider compliance, and deliver training and technical assistance
• Policy Development: Analyze legislation, assist with policy creation, and support consistent policy interpretation
• Provider Evaluation: Assess fiscal, administrative, and program operations through documentation review and on-site visits
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with counties, organizations, and agencies to develop and expand peer services
• Program Design: Support statewide planning, best practices, fiscal monitoring, and implementation of new initiatives
• Performance Monitoring: Evaluate peer programs for adherence to standards and core practice principles

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
